Marine Beauty Care Ltd. (formerly Bio-Col Cosmetics (UK) Ltd.) was founded in 2001 to serve the distribution of the excellent BioCol Marine Collagen products throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. Our company headquarters are in the county of Hertfordshire, 25 miles north of the capital London.
Kerstin Holman-Schmidt, our managing director, was first introduced to the product range during a visit to Germany in 1999, where BioCol Collagen Marine products were sold in prestigious outlets including KADEWE and Gallery Lafayette.
As a trained beauty therapist, Kerstin has always sought out the most natural yet highly effective skin care products especially for mature and problem skin. She shares the same passionate belief in the remedial properties of collagen as Senora Dolores Santamaria Alcocer, founder and managing director of Bio-Col Cosmetics Intl., SL, Spain. She was further delighted to have found a collagen product that is not bovine-based but rather combines the excellent properties of marine life with advanced technology. Kerstin was so impressed with the results achieved by using these products that she was determined to bring their benefits to the men and women throughout the British Isles. A distributorship was negotiated and so was born Bio-Col Cosmetics (UK) Ltd. Since then we have discovered other extraordinary products with marine ingredients that complement our excellent Marine Collagen products and renamed the company Marine Beauty Care Ltd. We are continuously searching for state-of-the-art products for our loyal customers and have recently added products with other cutting edge ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Pentapeptides and Oligopeptides ("faux" Botox) to name but a few - all at excellent prices.
We are also offering our own-brand products under MarineRadiance, PhytoRadiance and GlycoRadiance (for salon use).
