General Terms & Conditions 1. General The following General Terms & Conditions refer to all contracts, shipments and other services undertaken in this environment. Amendments have to be confirmed in writing by the Seller. The Seller reserves the right to change and amend the General Terms & Conditions as well as any amendments including returns and guarantee clauses without further notice. 2. Special Offers The Seller’s offers and special offers are not binding and there may be slight variations between images provided and the actual goods received. 3. Shipment & Payment The Seller’s mode of shipment and payment are clearly laid out on the order form. All retail prices and postage include the statutory VAT of 15%. 4. Delivery Time Goods that are in stock will be shipped within 7 days of receipt of payment. In the event that the goods should not be in stock when payment is received the Seller will undertake every effort to supply these as quickly as possible. In the event that delivery cannot be made within the deadline because of an act of good i.e. natural disaster, strike, revolution or other obstacles the deadline will be extended. Should the Seller not deliver within the deadline agreed due to other than the aforementioned reasons the Buyer shall have the right to claim compensation and/or cancel the purchase. In the event that the goods cannot be supplied with a month after the deadline due to reasons beyond the Seller’s control or due to failure on the part of its supplier both the Seller and the Buyer may cancel the contract. The Buyer shall not be able to lodge any claims for compensation with the Seller. 5. Transfer of Responsibility Responsibility for the goods will transfer from the Seller to the Buyer on dispatch. 6. Guarantee The seller guarantees that at the moment of responsibility transfer the goods are in excellent condition and carry all the features agreed on at the moment of purchase. The Buyer shall check the goods on receipt immediately. Shortages or breakages must be reported to the Seller in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to do so will invalidate any claim made thereafter. Warranty will be 12 months from date of purchase. In the event of a claim a receipt showing the date of purchase shall be produced. The goods shall be returned together with a copy of the invoice and shall carry adequate postage. We will not accept returns without any or inadequate postage – these shall be rejected and returned to the sender. Guarantee does not cover normal use and wear and tear. Guarantee is invalidated if the goods have been modified. 7. During the guarantee period the Seller shall have the right to repair the goods free of charge or replace them completely. Should the Seller fail to satisfy the Buyer with the goods during an adequate period of time he/she shall have the right to price reduction or full compensation. 8. Data Protection The Buyer shall be aware that for the purpose of the business transaction his/her personal information will be processed and stored on a computer database. In accordance with the Data Protection Act these personal data shall be protected and not passed on to third parties. 9. Cool-Down Period The Buyer shall have the right to return the goods within 14 days of receipt of the same. The Seller will carry the return postage if the value of the goods retuned is more than £30.00. The goods shall be returned to the company address and carry adequate postage and insurance. Postage will be credited to the Buyer’s account provided that the goods are received in complete working order. 10. Judicial Law Legal disputes shall be subject to the judicial law of the United Kingdom
